People that know me well know that last summer was one of the worst seasons of my life. This summer is proving to be one of the best seasons, and I have so many people to thank for that.
As most of you know, Antho and I drove to Corpus Christi for the 4th of July. We left Friday night around 5 pm, and we got in around 7am. Although driving overnight wasn't easy, it was definitely not nearly as bad as I expected it to be. We took his niece, Lindsey, along with us; she was a wonderful traveler! I was glad to have her along with us.

My parents came around 1:30 on Saturday afternoon, and both of our families rode the jet skis, the boat, etc. all day long. It was incredible. It was really neat for me to see my family and Ant's family interacting... I've never had an experience like that before.

On the left is Anthony's Aunt Liz. She is hilarious! On the right is his Grandma and Grandpa Bragg. They are both wonderful people. I got to meet his grandpa for the first time this trip, but I've spent time with his grandma before. I can't wait to see more of them!

I think that one of the highlights of the trip was watching my brother drive my dad around on the jet skis. I was cracking up!

I also got to watch my mom and youngest brother ride the jet skis! No one in my family has ever gotten to do anything like that before, so this was a really cool weekend!

This is Anthony's oldest sister, Amanda. I was super excited to spend time with her, because she's recently moved to Miami. Garrett (Ant's cousin) caught a fish, and Amanda snatched it up and cut it's head off so that she could use it as bait. She is so hardcore! hahaha

And here's Amy, of course, lookin' all cute and smiley. :) :)

We stopped for peaches on the way home! They were absolutely delicious. We made the drive in less than 12.5 hours... it should have taken at least 14, but we didn't have much traffic. Anthony drove the entire way back, and I love him for that. Once again, he was wonderful to travel with!

Well, that's the best summary I can come up with for right now. I'm not even sure if this post makes sense.. .I'm having trouble keeping my eyes from crossing.
I had an incredible time with Antho's family, and it was such a blessing to see my family for the second time in a month. I am very, very happy. But I'm also tired, so this is going to be it for today.
Cheers, and Happy 4th!!
